I'm pretty sure that every parent feels this exact same way, but with every minute that passes Lexi just gets funnier and funnier. She has waaaay too much personality for that tiny little body. Lexi and I got to spend the entire morning at home just the two of us. I was attempting to get a little house cleaning done before the air conditioning guy came, but Lexi had other plans. I had the vacuum out and was going from room to room. Literally the entire time that I cleaned she was on my heels saying, "maaaaaaama maaaaaaama". I would pick her up and say, "Ok, Lexi. If you look at me right now and say 'mama' again I will stop cleaning." She would then proceed to look me directly in the eyes and say, "ada ada". Seriously??? Haha! She makes me laugh so much!
Speaking of the air conditioning man, the A/C is fixed! Hallelujah!!!! Thank you, American Home Shield Warranty! :)
Went by Mom's on the way to work today and stuck Lexi's little footprints in the wet concrete of the bottom stair on her new outdoor spiral staircase. We have been trying for weeks to plan it all out right to make sure we could get her little paws in there at just the right time. Mom wasn't home, so it was just me and Lex attempting to do this. If you could have seen us... haha! While I would try to wrap her foot in saran wrap and dip it into the wet cement, she would be doing her very best to get her other foot and hands into it as well. It was a huge mess! We somehow managed to get both feet in. Although it isn't perfect, it is VERY Lexi- silly, fun, happy, adorable. Here's a picture of the finished product-
Stay dry out there. Peace.
