Happy Pool In The Ground Day!

Yay Yay Yay, It's Pool In The Ground Day!!!

For those of you who have no clue what I am talking about...

A few months ago I made it my mission to somehow talk my mom into building a pool at her house. I may have mentioned this before. I'm not sure. Anyway, for weeks I dropped hints and made little comments about how amazing a pool in the backyard would be. I then brought up how much fun Chip and I had growing up with a pool, and how it just wouldn't be fair to deprive our little Lexi of these awesome memories. The idea slowly started to grow on her. Very slowly I might add.

The time came when I thought for sure she could be convinced. I joked that I was going to call a pool guy and the next time she saw me it would be in her backyard planning out the logistics of it all. That next day I did a little research and found a company I thought would be fit for the job. Sure enough, I called the guy and explained the situation. He laughed, of course, but said he would be more than happy to come take a look and talk over some things. Mom about died when I told her I had set this up! A few days later the guy and his wife came to Mom's house for the big meeting. 2 hours later we had completed the plans for a pool and hot tub!!!

I still have no clue how I made this happen, but I am SO SUPER EXCITED!!!!! With all that being said, today they are putting the pool in the ground!!!! The hole has been dug, and they are ready to drop it in!  WOOHOO!!! I'm hoping to go over there at lunch to see them lift the pool over the house with a crane. Mom has promised to video it, so maybe I can post that video soon.
