Aliens and Stuff (You're Welcome Mom and Brandon)

Blah blah blah, it's Thursday. This week seems to really be dragging on forevvvvver. Next week will be amazing thanks to the Zac Brown Band concert, Memorial Day, and then our annual family beach trip!

Just a normal boring day around the Ham I suppose. I am working. Brandon is working, then school tonight. Lexi is at school. Nothing too exciting. I do have a couple of randoms-

1. When I was a baby I had a shirt to honor my very favorite uncle. It read " I LOVE MY UNCLE BRENT". We came across it going through some old stuff at Mom's house the other day. I decided to surprise Uncle Brent with a picture of Lexi wearing it some 26 years later. He totally loved it. So super duper cool!!

2. The pool is coming along wonderfully at Mom's! The dirt is being filled and retaining walls are being built. Mom is close to having a heart attack, but I am sure she will be fine when all is said and done. LOL! Can't wait to go swimming!

3. Uncle Chocolate Chip Cookie has now made an appearance at my house every single day since the tornado of April 27th. That means that we have seen him for 29 consecutive days (minus the 6 we were on St. George Island). Ha! Who's jealous? Tons of Cookie time= tons of fun!!! I would also like to note that while Chip and I watched the NASA channel last night, he informed me that he spotted an alien. He was dead serious. :)

4. Lexi is basically crawling. This comes in at number 4 without huge capital letters due to the fact that it's still her strange army crawl. Bottom line- she now has the ability to move forward! Woo hoo Lexi poo! So so so proud of my big girl. She's growing up so fast.

Here's a few little snapshots to spice up the blog. I visited Lexi for a few minutes at school today. Lexi's face in the second one absolutely cracks me up!!! She was SO over me taking pictures with her!
