Our baby girl will be 6 months tomorrow, she has an appointment for her next round of shots, and I will be taking my insurance licensing exam. I am going to enjoy today, because tomorrow has the possibility of being the absolute most depressing day of my life.
Today is dedicated to studying for me. I have been taking practice exams all day and the words are starting to run together. Mrs. Demita, being the angel that she is, offered to quiz me this afternoon. What better way to study than while also loving on my foofie fooferton??
To celebrate Lexi turning a whopping 1/2 of a year old, we will be having a picnic in the park on Saturday. Everyone is welcome! If you are interested, get with me and I'll fill ya in on the details. Hope to see you there! We decided on the park for one reason- the swings! This past weekend we drove to 3 different parks looking for baby swings that we've been hearing about. Someone finally told us about Wald Park in Vestavia. We stuck her in the swing, and she was immediately in Heaven! Daddy could not push her too high. What a little daredevil we have on our hands. She also feels the need to stick her tongue out the entire time she's swinging. It's so hilarious! When we went to get her out, she cried so loud! It was the first time she pitched a fit just for being mad at us. Naturally we gave in and stuck her right back in until she decided it was time to go. Grrrrrreat parenting. LOL!
Little Lex has been making some progress lately. She has been sitting up on her own. She can sit up for about 30 seconds before her back gets tired, and she falls over. She is so close, though! It's adorable to see her tiny little body sitting up straight like a big girl. She also has become quite the little scooter. She can only scoot backwards, however. If she needs to go forward, she will do a 180 spin on her bellybutton, then go backwards again. It is by far the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life!!! She is constantly cracking us up!

You and Lex are adorable!!! I miss you sooooooo much!!! I know you will do GREAT on your exam tomorrow!! Before you go, get super cute, then right before you take your test, look in the mirror and say to yourself, "I am awesome!" Sounds super silly I know, but it will work, I promise!! Can't wait to celebrate with you the next time I'm in town!! Love you bestie!!xoxo
