Tonia invited Lex and me to go see the Backyardigans at the McWayne Center. The Backyardigans is Lexi's very favorite TV show right now. She gets really excited at the theme song and will sit through an entire episode no problem. I hadn't heard they were going to be in Birmingham, so I am so glad she asked us to go!
We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Panera Bread and headed downtown. Lucy and Lexi both absolutely loved the characters! Precious Lucy is 1 1/2 now, so she could really understand what was going on. It was so cute to see her get so excited about them! Lex just stared with awe. I'm pretty sure she recognized them. They got the cutest picture taken with Tyrone, Pablo, and Uniqua. Uniqua was nice enough to help baby Lexi sit up beside her. She still needs just a litttttle bit of help. Here they are with most of the Backyardigans...
BTW, sorry some of my pictures look so rough. My blackberry is on it's last leg...
