Apparently I am only capable of updating a blog once a week. I am reeeeally trying to get better. It seems like every day our little Lexi poo is doing something new or funny, and I don't want to forget one second of it.
ITTTTT'S FRIIIIIIIIIDAY!!!!!! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Last weekend was nice and relaxing! By relaxing I mean we hit up the grocery store, shopped for Lexi's summer and beach wardrobes, cleaned our cars, went to the park, visited, and somehow still had time to watch 8,572 basketball games. I'm still winning in the bracket competition...
This week was a normal work week, except that on Wednesday night Granny and Granddaddy came to visit. It was nice. We ate some low carb foods, and had a nice walk around the neighborhood attempting to find the owner of a little pup. Brandon was convinced that it was Hutch reincarnated and wanted to keep him so bad. I do believe that 2 adults, 3 cats, and a baby is enough for our little garden home.
Last night Brandon had to work late since APCI's annual convention is this upcoming weekend. Me and Lex went over to Nana's for a visit and a workout. I'm determined to get in shape, and her new elliptical machine is gonna be the key. My determination will last for approximately another 45 seconds, so don't expect any results next time you see me. :)
I am absolutely loving this beautiful weather!!! Daddy will probably have to work this weekend for the convention, so me and Lex are going to have to plan something fun outside! She loves the outdoors. She always gives a little cackle when the wind blows on her face. Maybe another trip to the park is in order. This time, we will go to the one with the swings that she can use....
Yesterday at school, Mrs. Demita broke out Lexi's walker. She had been thinking it was still too big for her, but oh no! Our girl fit perfect. Being the brilliant little munchkin that she is, she almost immediately knew how to move in it. We were very impressed. Here's a little video...
I can't believe this girl has figured out her walker on the first try. Lexi will be "scooting all over" the place by the beach trip.
