We survived Lexi's first haircut. That one will definitely go down in the record books as a success. We had no screams and no tears. I am already missing her little rat tail though.

Today is crazy in the Allstate/Perfect Puzzle building. The hustle and bustle of picture day is in full effect. All the kids are looking extra precious in their picture outfits. Lexi hasn't had her sitting with the photographer yet. An update will come later on how that goes...

I was almost to work today when Brandon called and reminded me that exactly one year ago at that exact moment we were waking up with so much excitement and anticipation, as today was the day we would start the process of delivering our baby girl. We were like kids on Christmas times a million. At 4 o'clock we were checking in at Brookwood Hospital to start the induction process. It seemed like 4 o'clock would never come. Neither one of us can remember anything we did or ate that day. All we can remember is how incredibly happy and anxious we were to finally meet our precious angel. We knew that she would be open our hearts to a whole new world. And she has. What an incredible blessing we were about to receive. Still blows my mind.
