Party, Party, Party

So Thursday Mom finally talked me into calling a doctor about my head. As most of you may know, I was wrestling Brandon for who could get Lexi out of her crib the Saturday before. I fell backwards and hit my head SO hard on the corner of the door. Long story short, went to the ER, and I had a severe concussion. I mean really. Who gets a concussion wrestling for who can get to the baby first?!? Haha! Feeling better now though.

Friday we were a little disappointed that the weather was bad, and we were forced to postpone going to see Zoe in The Miracle Worker. We exchanged our tickets for Thursday though, so we are super excited to see her soon. Dinner with Granny, Granddaddy, and the fam was postponed as well. Chip was in town, so he stopped by for a few minutes. Lexi was SO excited to see him. She was literally giggly and teased the entire time he was here. It was adorable. She sat in his lap, and laughed at every single thing he did and said. So cute and funny. She loves her Uncle Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Saturday was lots of fun. We hung out with Lex all day, then went out for Brandon's cousins couples shower. It really is so nice to have a reason to get dressed up and be Brandon and Lauren again instead of Daddy and Mommy. Lex also decided to be nice to Mommy and sleep all the way through the night. She didn't wake up until 6am! So nice to not have to get up at 4am for a bottle.

Cereal is going well. Still can't get her to eat it out of the spoon, but she seems to really enjoy it out of the bottle. We think it is really filling her up better too. She seems much more content after she eats and isn't hungry again for a while.

Chip is on his way over again to hang out today. Yay for lots of Uncle Chip time! Lexi has been napping for almost 3 hours now, so she will be awake and ready to play when he gets here!

Super Bowl tonight. I could really care less who wins. We don't really have a dog in this race. I guess I hope Green Bay wins since the Steelers are so unlikeable these days. We will be looking forward to the commercials though. Hope to see some good ones.

Adios amigos.
