Happy FRIDAY!!! Woo hoo!!!
Last night was so much fun! We saw Zoe in The Miracle Worker, and she was awesome!! So fun to see her up on stage shining like a little starlett! I am sure that one day we will see her in New York on the big stages. She was SO good!
Loved visiting with Granny, Granddaddy, Aunt Tana, Brit, and Connor too! Lexi had the best time! Granddaddy took lots of pictures, and you can see in her face that she was having a blast! I mean, who doesn't love Granny's house though?!? Granny made Brandon some delicious bread pudding, and we will be enjoying the leftovers all weekend!
Being in Tuscaloosa always makes me crave Taco Casa. Heading out soon for some lunch... Mmm!!!
Poor little Lexi has the worst diaper rash. Teething causes the strangest problems. Anyway, we have some super duper diaper creme now that will hopefully clear it up soon. Hate to see little baby hurt.
Lexi is doing something new just about every day now. Her newest thing is singing. Mrs. Demita sings to her and after a few minutes, she sings along. It is adorable!!! She sings, "aaahhhaahhhaahhh" in her precious little voice. It is the greatest thing ever. She also sings along to the radio from time to time.
So sad we're missing Brad Paisley and Darius Rucker tonight. Lexi's song has always been "It Won't Be Like This For Long". For the first several weeks of her life, I could not hear it without crying my eyes out. It so makes me think of how fast they grow and how you have to savor every moment. I am devastated wo won't be there tonight to hear him sing it. :(
