Happy Birthday Weekend Daddy!

Happy MLK day! Too bad Brandon and I are both working... Boo!

Anyway, what a fun weekend!!! Friday night we went to Nana's (Mom's) house for Brandon's birthday dinner! Uncle Chip came in town, and we ate the most delicious steaks, baked potatoes, salad, sweet potatoes, and mushrooms ever! Only problem was I was too full for any Edgars cake! We did nothing Saturday. That was equally as amazing as the steak dinner! Haha! Sunday night we picked up Mamaw and headed to Grandma's (Judy's) house for Brandon's b'day dinner over there! Ronnie makes a spicy shrimp dish that is Brandon's favorite! The twice baked potatoes, salad, and chicken that went with it were to die for! After some Banana's Foster for desert, we were officially stuffed! I love a good weekend of nothing but great food and relaxation with the family. Doesn't get much better than that. :)

We are on pins and needles today! Any time now our dear friends Michelle and Thomas will be welcoming baby Sam into this world! We are SO excited for them!! Brings back all the sweet memories of when little Lex was born. I know what a special time this is for them, and I can't wait for him to be here!! He is, afterall, my future son-in-law.
